kahs#0008 Chicago White Sox

This intriguing photograph was recently printed in the March 2007 KAHS newsletter. That particular Chicago White Sox jersey was worn 1939 - 1951. Is he a player or a coach? Is that a catcher's mitt? He stands like a pitcher. Does anyone know the names of the three men, the circumstance and location? Sox fans?

Leo D. via snail mail says "I’m reasonably sure that Pic 3 shows Melvin “Stu” Rabideau, Joseph “Doty” Bayorgeon reading L to R. (The ballplayer I cannot identify)"

Thanks, Leo!

Alice Esler Luedke is a sister of
Myron John "Mush" Esler who was a trainer for the Chicago White Sox. They were children of Henry Esler who was the Fire Chief for Kaukauna in the late 1920's.

"Mush" died 8/29/1955 in Chicago.
There may be a chance that Alice may be able to recognize that person in the picture.

I believe that is Glen Miller, then Doty. The ball player might be a Lopez who was a catcher for the White Sox. Glen was affliated with the Sox and they had a camp for boys near Brothertown.
